Jack was an amazing guide. He is very knowledgeable of the ocean, the landscape and the culture of the area. He looked after everyone in the tour with great individual care. His attitude is bright and friendly. This was my first time kayaking in ocean waters - Jack was able to explain everything that we needed to do to stay safe and get the most out of the experience. The beaches, rock formation, caves, and the entire landscape was just breathtaking. Thanks to Jack for bringing it all so close to us in a very special way. Very well done!

Guides Diogo and Jack begin the tour with all the instructions necessary for our safety, followed by a tour of the beautiful caves where we can learn more about the history and formation of the Algares. In my case, I am 71 years old, I was accompanied by the guide Diogo and I had an unforgettable experience.  At no point did I feel insecure or afraid. Don’t forget to try it, Thank you Algarviews!

Jack and Diogo were amazing guides to help us enjoy this experience to the maximum! Diogo knew all the secret caves and passages on the way to the Benagil cave. They even gave us a snack and some bottles of water for the trip. They are also very passionate about the conservation of these beautiful caves.

We had an excellent afternoon with Diogo - great instructions, beautiful scenery, exciting forays into caves. Diogo made it really fun and is very competent. Highly recommend this kayaking tour along the cliffs. There's a cafe/bar/pizza joint at the cove where tour begins and ends - also recommend enjoying the view and repast there.

A super great kajak tour, besides the Benagil cave he showed us more smaller caves. It was a very nice experience. I would have missed it.

We had the most amazing time on the kayak tour. If there’s one thing you do whilst visiting the Algarve, make it this! Our instructor Jack was superb and adapted the tour to the group, showing us algares and caves that no other guide will show you. If you are wanting amazing photos then this is also the perfect thing for you to do. He has so much experience you feel completely safe and are able to have so much fun and laugh and enjoy being out on the sea. This is an experience I’ll never forget and couldn’t recommend more!

We really enjoyed our tour of the caves with Diogo. Our group of 5 and 4 others were taken around the coast going in and out of various caves and given short talks about the various caves, birds, rock formations etc. With you being part of a small group it makes the experience feel very personal and safe, highly recommended.

Wonderful trip with Algarviews. At the beginning we were given instructions on how to handle the kayak, everything was very understandable, we felt safe the whole time. The three of us set off with our guide Jack, who showed us not only the most famous cave, Benagil, but also the even more beautiful Captain’s Cave. It was just us here, away from mass tourism. We learned a lot about the caves, it was an incredible experience. Many thanks to our guide Jack, we would happily recommend Algarviews.
